How can I make my shirts more crisp using a steamer?
Ling asked:
I just bought a new shark garment steamer but I noticed that my shirts are not as crisp as when I iron them. Is there a product that I can us? I really like how fast and easy the steamer is and would like to continue to use it. Maybe a better steamer would give me the results that I am looking for? Do you know of a better product?

Do you need to wash a bamboo steamer a specific way?
Spike asked:
I got a bamboo basket/steamer today and (as with all things) I’m going to wash it before use. I heard somewhere once that you are not supposed to use soap on bamboo cooking utensils. Whether this is true or not, I don’t know. I just want to if I need to take special care when washing it.
(P.S. I am not going to put it into the dishwasher for those of you who might have mentioned not to do that)

Is it safe to cook green beans in a microwave steamer before pureeing for baby food?
Meluka asked:
I am making green beans for my baby for the first time. I read online to steam them until they are very tender then puree in my food processor, which I’ve done. it was only after I pureed the beans and separated them into ice trays covered them with saran wrap and put them in the freezer that i realized that maybe I shouldn’t have used my tupperware microwave steamer. Does anyone know if it is safe to steam baby food in the microwave?
